Patterson - Horton

Horton C. Patterson, a former resident of Crawfordsville died at his home in Danville, Ill at 10:30 on Monday evening after an illness of a year's duration. Mr. Patterson was a pension agent in the employ of the government and held office in this city for a number of years. He left here 10 years ago going to Danville where he has since resided. He is survived by his widow and one daughter, Miss Edith Patterson. Mrs. Patterson is a sister of Mrs. W.W. Seawright of this city. The deceased was born and spent his early life near Covington. He was well known throughout the county. Mr. Patterson was about 65 years old. The body will be brought to this city Thursday noon and will be taken direct from the Big Four station to Oak Hill Cemetery for burial. Funeral services will be held in Danville on Thursday morning.
