WAYNETOWN-- Ernest (Pat) Patrick, 64, died at 7:50 a. m. Friday in his home here. He had been seriously ill six weeks. He was born in Jennings County, and was married to Dorothy Zachary and Jewell Hubble. In 1962, he married Mrs. Gladys Schenck. He attended Crawfordsville schools, served overseas during World War I, and was employed in his early years by the Link Belt Co. of Indianapolis. He later worked at Crawfordsville High School and was a turnkey at the Montgomery County Jail. Mr. Patrick was a member of the United Presbyterian Church and Masonic Lodge No. 50 in Crawfordsville and the Scottish Rite of Indianapolis. Surviving with the widow are a son, Ernest B. Patrick of Indianapolis; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Ellen Gilbert of Oak Ridge, Tenn., and Mrs. Ruth Ann Rogers of Toledo, Ohio; six stepchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Hattie Booher of Indianapolis, Mrs. Margaret Walden of Gosport, Mrs. Myrtle Jessup of Westport, and Mrs. Inez Fruits of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and a half-brother, Kenneth Hudson of Lebanon.
