WAYNETOWN, Ind. (CNS) -- Mrs. Marjorie D. Pate, 58, died Tuesday (Dec. 10, 1968) at her home in Waynetown. She had been in failing health two years. Born July 4, 1910 at Kokomo, she was the daughter of Fred and Zora Neff. She was married May 9, 1927 to Jordan L. Pate at Logansport and he survives. After her marriage, she lived on a farm at Kewanna, Ind. In 1930 they moved to Colfax and later to Ladoga, where they were the proprietors of the City Cafe for two years. They had resided in Waynetown the past two years. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and three sisters. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Servies-Thomas Funeral Home in Waynetown, with the Rev. Morris Finch, pastor of the Waynetown Christian Church, officiating. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Wednesday. The body will be taken to Indianapolis for cremation.
