Mrs. Henry Parrish died at her home on E. Main St. early on Sunday morning after a protracted and painful illness resulting from a cancerous condition of the liver. For several weeks her death has been expected at any time. Funeral services at the home on Tuesday afternoon were conducted by Rev. Olin S. Stewart. Interment at Maple Ridge. Mrs. Parrish was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Miller of New Albany, Illinois and was born March 18, 1857. She married Henry Parrish in 1875. They with their son, John, have made their home here for about 6 years. She was a member of the ME Church and had many friends. The husband and son; a daughter, Mrs. Charles Wildman of Mattoon, Ill, and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Bert Davis of Crawfordsville survive her. Those from a distance attending the funeral were Charles Robinson and family of Lebanon; Marion Miller of Whiteland; Bert Davis and James Grimes and their families of Crawfordsville; Walter Martin and family of Whitesville; Miss Bertha Royer of Linden; Charles Wildman and family of Mattoon, Ill; Mr. and Mrs. W.V. Buker and Harvey Bresslor of Villa Grove, Ill. kbz
