Dallas E. Parks, 59, of Snohomish, Wash., a former Fountain County resident, died Saturday (Aug. 14, 1971) at a hospital in Everett, Wash., following a short illness. He was born in Fountain County Nov. 19, 1911. He graduated from Indiana State University and spent most of his life in Washington. At the time of his death, he was principal of the school at Skykomish, Wash. For two years, he taught at Covington High. Survivors include his widow, Opal; a son, Donald of Prosser, Wash.; his mother, Mrs. George Bayless of Crawfordsville Route 8; and two brothers; Marion of Sacramento, Calif., and Emery L. of Crawfordsville Route 5. He was preceded in death by his father. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Snohomish. --typed by Walt W
