Parkerson - Elizabeth Groves

Mrs. Elizabeth Parkerson [Parkinson], aged 74 years and nine months, died at 10 o'clock Monday morning at the home of her son-in-law, Willard Shuler, in Englewood, from tuberculosis with which she had been suffering for the past six weeks. Mrs. Parkerson was the widow of Joel Parkerson, farmer of this county, who died in 1908. She is survived by four children. They are Mrs. Martha Ellis, wife of Joseph Ellis; Mrs. Rachel Shuler, wife of Willard Shuler; Henry F. McKinsey of Terre Haute, and Mrs. Effie Weir, wife of Everett Weir of this county. The first three children, two daughters and one son, were children by her first husband, Mordecai McKinsey, who died in 1867. Four children are dead. Mrs. Parkerson was a member of the United Brethren church. The funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning, at the home of Mr. Shuler in Englewood, conducted by J. Frederick Rake, pastor of the Baptist church. Burial will take place at Bunker Hill cemetery, east of Alamo. Thanks so much to Cheryl F
