WINGATE—Mrs. Mildred D. Parker, wife of Dr. Carl B. Parker of Wingate, died at 12:15 p.m. Thursday in Americana Nursing Center at Lafayette. She had been in ill health three years and in serious condition since last January. A native of Illinois, she was born March 9, 1911 to Clyde and Elizabeth Morrison. She married Dr. Parker in June, 1945, in Crawfordsville. Surviving besides her husband are her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Dickey of Raccoon Lake, two sons, Richard Delks of Columbus and Larry Delks of Crawfordsville; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Donald Cowan of Waynetown; a stepson, Dr. John Parker of Goodland; two sisters, Mrs. Claude Ocheltree of Veedersburg and Mrs. Joe Bowman of Raccoon Lake, and 12 grandchildren. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Saturday at Servies-Thomas Funeral Home in Waynetown with Rev. Rob James officiating, assisted by Rev. Jean McCan. Burial will be in Darlington IOOF Cemetery.
