HILLSBORO - Clifford D. Parker, 72, a former resident of Hillsboro, died at his home in Milwaukee, Wis., at 5 pm. Tuesday following a heart attack. He had recently visited relatives here while attending the Wabash College Alumni Banquet and also the Hillsboro High School Alumni Banquet on June 6. Mr. Parker was a 1916 graduate of Wabash College and was a embmer of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He was employed in the YMCA in Chicago and Milwaukee for a number of years and had been retired for the past six years. Born Aug. 5, 1892, near Hillsboro, he was the son of George and Mary Rusk Parker. Mr. Parker served in World War I. He was a member of the Baptist Church in Milwaukee. Survivors include his wife, Mary; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Margaret Stafford of Syracuse, N. Y.; a brother, Charles Parker and two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Cronk and Mrs. Mabel Keeling, all of Hillsboro; a step-daughter, Mrs. Yvone Buckley, and a step-grandson, both of California. Funeral services will be held at the Raasch Funeral Home in Milwaukee at 1:30 p.m. Friday with burial in Milwaukee. - kbz
