Mrs. Lizzie Page, wife of Bert Page and daughter of JA and Sarah King, died at her home in New Richmond last Sunday at 4 o'clock p.m. after an illness of 10 days. Lizzie Page was the first of 7 children to cross the river. She leaves a husband, father, mother, four sisters and two brothers to mourn her loss. Mrs. Page united with the ME Church in the days of her youth, and looking up from her dying pillow with almost the latest breath said, "It is well with my soul." Lizzie King was born on January 27, 1867 and was married to Bert Page on June 17, 1888. She was a good girl, a faithful and loving wife. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. DA Rogers at the ME Church in New Richmond on Tuesday at 10:30 o'clock. The remains were interred at New Richmond cemetery. The neighbors and friends of this village and vicinity extend their sympathy to the bereaved husband and relatives. - kbz
