Charles Alvin Paddock – Funeral Services were held Saturday afternoon at the Marshall Baptist Church for Charles A. Paddock, 53, who died suddenly Thursday afternoon, Feb 20, 1964 of a heart attack suffered at his home in Marshall. He was born June 10, 1910, the son of Grant and Effie Bash Paddock. In 1929 he was married to Eileen Streben, who survives. Mr. Paddock was water plant operator at Turkey Run State Park the last 14 years. He was a member and deacon of Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School. He was also a past master of the Marshall Masonic Lodge and member of the Marshall Low 12 club. Survivors include the widow; his mother; five sons: Frank; Robert; Bill; Max and Charles; 3 daughters, Mrs. Delores Brown; Mrs. Norma Hobbs and Mrs. Maxine Jones; two brothers, Harry and Paul and 3 sisters: Mrs. Zora Norman; Mrs. Edna Nolan; Mrs Irene Philpott. Rev. Jesse Ball officiated at the funeral services with Davies-Tudor Funeral Home in charge. Pall bearers were Fred Penn; Earl Lewis; Roy Cope; John Harmon; Wayne Hazlett and Norman Keller. Honorary Pallbearers were Charles Rodgers; Fred Marshall and Roy Cailey. Burial in Wolf Creek Cemetery.
