Dr. Edward OVERPECK, a Rockville physician committed suicide Monday by shooting himself with a shotgun. The charge entered the left side below the heart. He lived for about an hour and was conscious part of the time but unable to speak. He had been divorced aobut two years and remarried. The first wife, who had custody of the daughter was going to remarry and move to California and take the daughter with her. The prospect of separation preyed on his mind until it led to the fatal deed. - kbz
