Louis Otto, 64 years old, postmaster of Crawfordsville and brother of the late Theodore E. Otto for years a druggist of this city passed away this morning at his home in Crawfordsville according to a message received by relatives. Mr. Otto had been ill for some time but details of his death wer enot given in the message sent here. Funeral services will be held at Crawfordsville Saturday afternoon. Mr. Otto had been postmaster of Crawfordsville for a number of years and in addition was in the jewelry business there, a son being associated with him in this enterprise. Mr. Otto formerly was a partner with Carl Rost in operating a large jewelry store in Indianapolis. He is survived by a wife and two children. Mr. Otto was a cousin of HL Rost of this city. Mr. Rost and wife are now at Vincennes attending the funeral of Mrs. Rost’s brother, John Mueller, who died at this home at that place Monday. They are expected to return home tomorrow and will likely attend the funeral of Mr. Otto. - kbz
