T. Noel Osborn, 61, 8 Country Club Terrace, died at 12:30 p.m. Sunday in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Lafayette. Mr. Osborn was a partner with his brother, Marion, in the Hillsboro Lumber Co. and had been in the lumber business at Veedersburg, Covington and Hillsboro since his graduation from Ohio State University in 1931. He also was the owner of Country Club Meadow subdivision west of Crawfordsville. He resided in Hillsboro for many years before moving to Crawfordsville. He was a member of the Elks Club here, Christian Church at Hillsboro and Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. Born Aug. 27, 1908, at Hillsboro, he was a son of Freeman and Sue Weidman Osborn. Survivors include his wife, the former Hariett Butler; a son, Thomas N. Osborn II of Boulder, Colo.; three brothers, Marion of Hillsboro, Sheldon of Seattle, Wash., and Dale of Santa Rosa, Calif.; two stepsons, Robert Townsend of Crawfordsville and Larry Townsend of Downers Grove, Ill.; and a sister, Miss Lois Osborn of Hillsboro. Mr. Osborn donated his body to the Indiana University Medical Center for medical education and research. He also donated his eyes to the eye bank at Indianapolis. Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Hillsboro Christian Church with Rev. James Whitaker officiating. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation. Contributions to the foundation may be sent to Dr. Robert Heinburger, Indiana University Medical Center, Indianapolis. --waw
