Ralph M. Osborn, 80, died early Wednesday in his home on Rt. 1, West Point. He had been in failing health for the past 3 years. Mr. Osborn was born July 31, 1889 in Fountain County to Homer J. and Ada Martin Osborn. He married Alice Howard Jan 12, 1915. He was a life resident of Fountain County. He lived in Covington and Kingman until moving to West Point in November 1969. Mr. Osborn was a farmer all his life and well-known in the Fountain County area as a fox hunter. Surviving are his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Mildred) Byers and Mrs. Charles (Ruth) Trott; a sister, Mrs. Marvel Martin; six grandchidlren and 9 great grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington. Rev. Robert Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope.
