KINGMAN — Mrs. Odelia D. Osborn, age 85, of Bloomingdale Rt. 1, sister of Mrs. Lawrence McMahan of Kingman, died suddenly at her home at 5:10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17. Mrs. Osborn was born in Fountain County May 30, 1884, the daughter of Dave and Catherine McElwee Tender. She married Virgil G. Osborn on May 31, 1902. She was a member of the Rush Creek Friends Church. Surviving Mrs. Osborn are: two daughters, Mrs. Catherine Hoover of Marshall and Mrs. Tom (Inez) Carpenter of Bloomingdale Rt. 1; one brother, Willie Tender of Rockville; one sister, Mrs. McMahan of Kingman and one grandson, Larry Hoover of Marshall. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son and one sister. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Rush Creek Church. Shirley Brown and the Rev. B. P. Nickless officiated and burial was in the Rush Creek Cemetery. The Davies-Rudor Funeral Home of Marshall was in charge of arrangements. --waw
