Orr - Nancy Henderson

At the age of 89 years, Mr. Nancy Henderson Orr died at her home, 702 Liberty street Sunday morning at 11 o'clock from pneumonia. She was born in Ireland and came to this country in 1847. Mrs. Orr's husband was killed in the Civil war. Three sons died in early manhood and a daughter, Mrs. George Smith, died last February. Mrs. Orr was a devoted and life-long member of the Presbyterian Church. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Henry Schenck of this city; Mrs. Mary Roth of Rochester, Ind., and Mrs. Retta Larsh of San Gabrid, California: also five grandchildren Harry O. Smith and Dr. F.O. Schenck of this city; Mrs. Myrtle Mader of Wheeling W. Va.; Misses Lena and Edna Roth of Rochester, Ind. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon from the late home on Liberty street, beginning at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. Sillars in charge. - transcribed by Kim H
