Hoff, Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock, conducted by Rev. Wallace Tharp, pastor of the Christian Church. Mrs. Oppy’s maiden name was Rachel Busenburg, and she was born in Union Township in 1828, being 71 years old at the time of her death. She had lived all her life here and was one of the best known women in the community. The only child is R. B. Hoff. Mrs. Oppy was a woman of splendid character and her life was full of good works, her death being sincerely mourned by those who had known of her and her long life. -s
