Raymond T. OLMSTEAD died at his home in the Deer's Mill neighborhood March 16, 1960. Son of Dr. Russell & Lavine Cole Olmstead, born at Versailes, Dec 17, 1887; married Grace Glascock at Frankfort. Owned and operated a barbecue restaurant some years at Lima, Ohio and at Union Depot, Cincinnati and Westinghouse Electric until his retirement. Surviving widow; sister-in-law, Mrs. Marie Olmstead and a nephew. Funeral rites were held Sat. morning at Machledt & Servies Funeral Home, Waveland, Rev. Carothers officiated; burial in Cliff Hills Cemetery, Versailles.

Raymond T. Olmsted, 72, of Waveland, Ind formerly of Lima died in his home Wednesday after an illness of several months. A resident of Lima from 1918-1955, he was employed on the police force of the local Westinghouse Electric Corp plant for 18 years, retiring in 1955. Since his retirement he lived on a farm near Waveland. Mr. Olmsted is survived by his widow, Grace. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Machledt Funeral Home, Waveland. Burial will be in Versailles, Ind.
