The remains of W. H. Oliver, Sr., arrived this afternoon from Chicago and after funeral services at the Christian Church conducted by Rev. G. W. Switzer, the interment took place at Oak Hill, at the side of his wife. Mr. Oliver was a native of Tennessee and came to Crawfordsville eight years ago. He served during the war three years in the Union army and then received injuries which rendered him a cripple to the day of his death. Mr. Oliver had taken u his residence with his son, A. J. Oliver, in Chicago only three weeks ago and his death, which resulted from heart failure, was quite sudden. He was 69 years old and a Christian gentleman who bore his sufferings most patiently.
