NEW RICHMOND — Frank E. Oliver, 72, resident of this community most of his life, died at Culver Hospital at 8:15 a.m. Saturday. He was taken to the hospital Friday afternoon after he suffered a heart attack. Oliver had been a farmer most of his life, and also had been employed in recent years by the REMC at Linden. He was born Aug. 21, 1888, at Crawfordsville, the son of Justus W. and Carrie B. Oliver. He was married Feb. 2, 1914, in Crawfordsville to Gertrude Britton. The survivors include the wife; a son, Arthur Oliver of Rossville; two grandsons, Ronald W. and James A. Oliver; two brothers, Walter Oliver of Detroit and Lawrence Oliver of Indianapolis, and a sister, Mrs. Stanley Walls of Crawfordsville. Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Monday at the New Richmond Church, with Rev. Phillip Bradford in charge. Burial will be in the New Richmond Cemetery. Friends may call at the McCloud Mortuary in Crawfordsville.
