Nutt - Jonathan

Jonathan Nutt, for years one of the best known farmers in the vicinity of Yountville, died Friday afternoon about 4 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Clinton Snyder. Death was due to infirmities of age. Mrs. Nutt would have been 90 years old September 1 and he is the last of a family of 10. Mr. Nutt was married March 17, 1863 to Mary A. Cooper and to this union 3 children were born: Lenon who died in infancy; Mrs. Clinton Snyder of near Yountsville and Mrs. Flora Burton of Crawfordsville. Mrs. Nutt preceded her husband in death about 20 years ago. In addition to the two daughters he also leaves six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was united with the Methodist Church at Crawfordsville about 25 years ago. Funeral services will be held at the home Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock with Rev. Howard in charge. Burial will be held at the Masonic Cemetery.
