Nunan - Austin Paul

Austin Paul Nunan, 56-year-old life-long resident of Crawfordsville died at 2:30 p.m. Friday in an Evansville Hospital after an illness of 21 years. He was employed for seven years by the Lewis-Shepard Company and farmed. Born April 15, 1902, in Crawfordsville, he was the son of John and Elizabeth Middleton Nunan. He was married to Lucille Gobel in 1927. Survivors include the widow, two sons, Kenneth and Robert Nunan, both of Crawfordsville; three daughters, Mrs. Beverly Myers of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Doris Vanhook of Attica and Mrs. Irene Roche of Texas; two brothers, Carl Nunan of Crawfordsville and Fred Nunan of Baltimore, Md., and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two daughters, one brother and two sisters. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Russell F. Brown Mortuary with John R. Servies in charge of services. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the mortuary after 4 p.m. Saturday. - kbz
