Noth - Frank
Source: Crawfordsville Weekly Journal Friday, 21 March 1902
Frank Noth, who committed suicide in Elwood Thursday night, was formerly a butcher in this city and is a brother-in-law of Phillip Fink. Noth has been conducting a meat shop at Elwood for several years and had been drinking for several days before his death. His business affairs were in good shape and no other cause than despondency can be given for his rash deed. There was but one witness to his death, his eleven year old daughter, who said that her father lay down on the bed beside his sleeping wife and without a work shot himself. The funeral occurred Sunday at Elwood and was attended from this city by Phillip Fink and wife and Miss Mary Fink. -s
