Noblitt - John
Source: Waveland Independent Waveland, Montgomery County, Indiana 3-11-1932
Dr. JS Noblitt was called to Kankakee, Illinois Tuesday night by an accident that happened to his brother, John near there about six o'clock. His car collided with a truck and the gasoline became ignited, causing burns from which he died in St. Mary's hospital, Kankakee, about 11. It will be recalled that in an auto accident July 9 near his home in Anargo, Illinois, his wife was killed and he suffered a fractured skull, a broken arm and injury to his eye which caused him to see double. It is thought that this may have been the cause of the accident; that the flap which he wore over that eye may have slipped down, confusing him about the location of the truck. Since this accident he has been in Waveland frequently and has made many friends by his cheerful disposition. Dr. and Mrs. Noblitt and Austin attended the funeral at Marengo (sic) today. He is survived by one son. He was engaged in selling nursery stock. - kbz
