Rockville, Ind – Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Barnes Mortuary for Austin K. Noblitt, 76 who died Sunday. The former hardware merchant was executive secretary of the Parke County Covered Bridge Festival and was an incorporator of historic Billie Creek Village near here. Surviving are a wife and two sons.

Austin K. Noblitt, 76, Rockville, formerly of English died Sunday at the Vermillion County Hospital in Clinton. Born in English, he graduated from Purdue University and owned and operated a hardware store in Rockville. He was secretary of the Parke County Covered Bridge Festival, directing the event for several years and helped incorporated Billie Creek Village. Surviving are his wife, Margaret and two sons, James and John Noblitt. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Barnes Mortuary where friends may call after 4 p.m. today.
