MELLOTT — Mrs. Grace Nine, 86, who lived with her daughter here since the death of her husband in 1957, died at about 5 p.m. Wednesday in Americana Nursing Home at Lafayette. She had been a patient there three and a half weeks and a patient in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville two and a half months prior to that after suffering a broken hip. She lived at Hillsboro most of her married life and was a member of Hillsboro United Methodist Church and a charter member of Come Join Us Class of the Sunday School. She was born Dec. 18, 1887, in Fountain County, a daughter of Joseph and Mariam Dudley Boord. Her husband, Jesse Nine, died Dec. 23, 1957. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Mildred) Claypool of Mellott; a sister, Mrs. Dottie Hesler of Veedersburg, and a granddaughter, Roberta Claypool of Dallas. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Crumley-Williams Funeral Home at Hillsboro with the Rev. Clyde K. Hunter officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Hillsboro. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday. --typed by Walt W
