Mrs. Jennie Beal Nicholson was the daughter of Jonathan and ELizabeth Beal. She was born and reared west of this city and with her sisters, was taught all the Christian virtues and study qualities of character that have been carried with her through life.

Mrs. Nicholson has a host of friends who mourn her loss as she had endeared herself to them by the bonds of loving-kindness, generosity and fine character. From a memory's garden these friends have plucked for her their choicest flowers.

Surviving are one grandson, Dr. Nicholson Eastman, Mrs. Eastman and great grandson, Morrison'; four sisters, Mrs. Huggins; Mrs. Griest; Mrs. Barrett and Mrs. Truitt; 7 nieces, Mrs. Monger and daughter, Vivian; Mrs. Linder; Mrs. Hemer; Mrs. Essex and daughters, Martha Luster and Mary Essex. She was a faithful member of the First ME Church since childhood, contributing of her life and means to its support. She was identified with every good cause in the community. - kbz
