Kingman -- William Oral Newnum, 68 of Kingman Rt 2 died at 1:30 p.m. Thursday Feb 3, 1972 in Union Hospital Terre Haute. He was born in Fountain County Indiana on March 3, 1903 the son of Embert J. and Nancy E. Atkinson Newnum. He was a retired railroader having worked for the Central & Easter Ill RR for 23 years. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Lucille Finney of Briton, SD; two brothers, Daniel Harold Newnum of Kingman and Connie Newnum of Tangier; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Davies-Tudor Funeral Home, Marshall. The Rev. BF Nickless will officiate with burial in Rush Creek. There will be visitation at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday.
