Kingman - Guy Eston Newnum, 67, a retired C & EI Railroad employee, died at 8:50 a.m. yesterday (Sept 16, 1968) at his home in Kingman. He had suffered a stroke Sunday. Born April 5, 1901, in Fountain County, he was the son of Embert and Effie Atkinson Newnum. He married 5 June 1940 Eleanor Wilkins, who died 15 May 1962. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Boilermakers Union 1232 at Danville. Survivors include 3 brothers, Conny of Tangier; Bill and Dan of Kingman; and a sister, Mrs. Lucille Finney of Britton, SD. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Davies-Tudor Funeral Home in Marshall. The Rev. BF Nickless will officiate. Burial at Rush Creek Cemetery. - kbz
