KINGMAN -- Mrs. Anna Ola Newnum, 76, died at 7:40 a.m. Thursday at the home of a niece, Mrs. Grace Garrison, where she had lived the past year. Mrs. Newnum was a member of Kingman Camp, Royal Neighbors of America. A native of Fountain County, Mrs. Newnum was born March 27, 1890, a daughter of John and Phebia Hartman Fisher. Surviving are a brother, John Fisher of Kingman; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Glenn (Geraldine) Minnath of Kingman and Mrs. Beulah Graves of Anderson; three step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam, Dec. 18, 1963, and four sisters and a brother. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Davies-Tudor Funeral Home in Marshall with Rev. Lowell Barnard officiating. Burial will be in Kingman Fraternal Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. Mrs. Newnum had requested that contributions be made to the Fountain County Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
