Neese - Ovid

Ovid Neese, 76, 1809A Fremont St., died Wednesday morning in a Logansport hospital. He was a retired farmer and Wabash College employee. Mr. Neese was a member of Crawfordsville Church of Christ and educated in Boone County. Born Nov. 30, 1899, in Whitestown, he was the son of Harvey and Charlotte Peters Neese. He was married to Pansy McIntire in 1926. Surviving are his wife; a son, William of Northfield, N.J.; three daughters, Mrs. Virginia Lettes of Brownsburg, Mrs. Dorthy Miller of Indianapolis and Mrs. Arlene Garr of Crawfordsville; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday in Powers Funeral Home at Crawfordsville with Gene Warman and Ermin Poer officiating. Burial will be in Mounts Run Cemetery near Lebanon. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. – jlr
