Hubert C. Needham, 46, died at his home in Darlington on Monday morning at 3:45 o'clock following an illness of six months with a complication of diseases. Born November 11, 1894, he was the son of Obed and Ava Lough Needham. He was married to Mary Burke at Merom, Indiana on June 6, 1920. A veteran of the WW, he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars at Crawfordsville and the American Legion at Frankfort. He also was a member of the Christian Congregational Church and of the Masonic Lodge. Survivors include the wife; his mother, Mrs. Eva Needham; two daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Hankins and Miss Betty Needham and a brother, Cecil Needham. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Christian Congregational Church with Rev. Strawmyer in charge and burial in the Darlington Cemetery.
