Naylor - Annie Keeney

Mrs. Annie Keeney Naylor, widow of Harry C. Naylor, passed away at a hospital in Lafayette Thursday morning according to a message received here by relatives. Mrs. Naylor's death occurred at 11 o'clock and followed an extended illness. The deceased who was a resident of Crawfordsville for many years was born here, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jere Keeney. Her father was a pioneer newspaperman of this city and will be remembered by many of the older residents. For the past 2 1/2 years Mrs. Naylor had made her home with her brother, Stanfield Keeney in Indianapolis. For the past 3 years she had been an invalid and on December 30 was taken to Lafayette for treatment where she had since been a patient. For 20 years she was a resident of California. While a resident of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Naylor was prominently identified with the Livestock Insurance Company. She was a member of Center Presbyterian Church and Rebekah Lodge. Those surviving are two brothers, Stanfield Keeney of Indianapolis, and JM Keeney of Danville, Ill and a sister, Mrs. Bessie Blackburn of California. The funeral services will be held at Hunt & Ratcliff Funeral Home Saturday afternoon. Friends who wish to pay their respects may call there Friday evening.
