Veedersburg -- Mrs. Mary Ellen MYERS, 82, died Sunday morning at a Logansport Hospital where she had been a patient for the past 4 years. Mrs. Myers suffered a fractured hip Friday in a fall at the hospital. Her death resulted from the injury. Born July 27, 1875, near Yeddo, Mrs. Myers was the daughter of Benjamin and Sarah Mendenhall Harvey. She was the last survivor of six children. Mrs. Harvey (sic) resided in Veedersburg for 30 years. Survivors include her son, Carol Myers; a grandchild and two greats. The body is at the Fishero Funeral Home where friends may call. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Tuesday at 2 p.m. with burial in the Centennial Cemetery. - kbz
