Russellville - John J. Myers, 92, a retired farmer who lived in the Russellville area most of his life, died Tuesday in a Danville nursing home. He was born in Putnam County July 18, 1885, a son of Bill and Emma McGaughey Myers. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Clarell Lawson of Danville; a half-sister, Mrs. Nell Phillips of Crawfordsville; a half brother, Landy Myers of New Market; and 3 grandsons. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in McGaughey & Sons Funeral Home here with burial in Russellville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 9 a.m. Thursday.
