Myers - Jane Lough Litsey

Mrs. Eli Myers of Fountain County, was buried at the Presbyterian Cemetery on Tuesday after services at the Church conducted by Rev. Thomas G. Pearce. Jane Lough was born near Eaton, Ohio June 24, 1825. She moved to the farm west of Waveland with her parents at a time when the town consisted of one log house. She was the youngest daughter of John and Mary Lough, and the last claimed by death. She married John Litsey in 1845. Of three children, Mrs. Kate Club of Howard, Kansas is the only one living. Mr. Litsey died in 1850. In 1854 she married James Watson. A son, JB Watson lives in Chrisman, Ill. Mrs. (sic Mr.) Watson died in 1871. In 1882 she married Eli Myers who survives her but is in very feeble health. She was an aunt of Mrs. Frank Clark. ---kbz
