Grace June Myers, 44, Rt 8 Oak Hill Rd, Crawfordsville died Sunday night in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Lafayette. Mrs. Myers was a former employee of Hoosier Crown Industries of Crawfordsville. She was a former resident of Waynetown and was a member of Order of the Eastern Star 435 of Waynetown and Wesley Community Church. She was born at Waynetown June 27, 1934, a daughter of Howard C and Pearl Shanklin Redmon. She attended Waynetown HS. She was married April 27, 1977 to Herman L. Myers who survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Deborah Blackford and Cheryl Wood both at home and Mrs. Brenda Billingsley and Sandie Blackford both of Crawfordsville; four brothers, Robert Redmon of Crawfordsville; John Redmon of Reynolds and Walter and Joe Redmon both of Waynetown; a sister, Mrs. Mildred Harwood of Crawfordsville; a stepson, Michael W. Myers of New Market a stepdaughter, Sharon Kenney of Crawfordsville; a grandchildren and a stepgrandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, Rick Blackford. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Thomas Funeral Home at Waynetown with Rev. James Dunbar officiating. Burial in Wesley cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
