Doris Maxine Myers, 84, Hillsboro, died at 1:10 a.m. Friday Nov 6 1998 in Culver Union Hospital, Crawfordsville. Born Nov 27 1913 in Browns Valley, she was the daughter of Alonzo Henderson Gooding and Myrta Ellen Davis Gooding. She married Herman D. Myers Dec 24 1936 in Hillsboro, who survives. She was a homemaker and a 1934 Waynetown High School graduate. She was a member of Hillsboro Christian Church and the Sew & Sew Club of Hillsboro. Survivors besides her husband include two sons, Larry W. and Faye Myers of Hillsdale, and Richard E. and Donna Myers of Hillsboro; six grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, three sisters and her parents. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday at Shoemaker Funeral Home, Waynetown. Burial was in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery, Waynetown. - transcribed by kbz
