VEEDERSBURG — Conrad Myers, age 67, died on his birthday at his home at 205 W. Washington St., here at 5 p.m. Sunday, April 21. Death was attributed to a heart attack. Mr. Myers was born April 21, 1901, at Homer, Ill., the son of Alonzo and Arminta Hall Myers. He was married to Bertha Rogers in January 1946 in Paris, Ill., and she survives. He was a member of the Attica Christian Church and the Moose Lodge of Attica. He had been a resident of Veedersburg the past four years and formerly of Attica for eight years. He was a retired farmer and had served as custodian of the Attica and Hillsboro High Schools. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are: his mother, Mrs. Arminta Myers of Fairmount, Ill.; one son, Cecil Myers of Georgetown, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Ernest (Agnes) Coffing of Darlington and Mrs. James (Janet) Parks of Covington; one sister, Mrs. Erwin See of Fithian, Ill.; one brother, Raymond Myers of Fairmount and seven grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. today, April 24, at the Parham Funeral Home here. Burial was in the GAR Cemetery at Homer, Ill.
