COVINGTON — Clifford L. Myers Jr., 64, of Pinellas Park, Fla. died Wednesday at his home. He had been ill six months. Mr. Myers was a retired inspector for Road Machinery Manufactures. He was a member of Mt. Herman Lodge 263 F&AM, Elkahir Shrine, Crescent Consistery, and FAL-CIO. He had lived in Florida since 1977, moving there from Iowa where he had lived most of his life. He was a veteran of World War II and had served with the U.S. Navy. Born April 3, 1915, at Cedar Rapids, Iowa, he was a son of Clifford L. and Pearl Hunt Myers. He was married to Lucille Keller on Dec. 23, 1939, at Covington. She survives. Also surviving are three brothers, Garland of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Russell of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Neal of Tampa, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. Nora Miller of Mission, Mo., Mrs. Fawn Cassidy of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Mrs. Gloria Warner of Cedar Rapids.; and nieces and nephews. Services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Saturday in Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home at Covington with the Rev. Grover Williams officiating. Burial will be Lower Mound Cemetery. Masonic services are scheduled at 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. today. --typed by Walt W
