Myers - Blanche Ryker

Mrs. Blanche Myers, 67, 1627 Beeler St., Speedway, died Thursday morning in Community Hospital from injuries sustained in an auto accident. Mrs. Myers was the sister of Lester "Casey" Ryker of 215 Vance St. The accident which occurred Sunday afternoon at the intersection of Interstate 465 and Ind. 67, also resulted in injuries to the husband, Gerald Myers. Mr. Myers who was also taken to Community Hospital after the accident, was released Thursday afternoon. The Myers auto collided with a semi-trailer truck. A native of Patrick she was the daughter of Charles and Amelia Ryker. In addition to her husband and her brother here, she is survived by two daughters, Sarah Jane Julius who lives in California and Judy Kryder, a Tennessee resident; three sisters, Agnes Bridwell of Lafayette, Flossie Walker of Brownsburg and Mrs. Hiram Vail of Ladoga, and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Albert, William and Everett. Services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Conkle Funeral Home in Speedway.
