New Market - Mrs. Bertha Myers, 76 of New Market died Friday evening in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. Mrs. Myers was a member of New Market Methodist Church and Loyd Daughters Sunday School class. She graduated from Otterbein HS. Born Feb 5, 1899, at Otterbein, she was a daughter of Ernest and Annie Gephart. She married Landy Myers Feb 20, 1918. He survives. Also surviving are two sons, Ernest of Lafayette and David of New Market; two daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Lillian) Spangler of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Dan (Mary) Teofilo of Boynton Beach, FL; two brothers, Everett of California and Max of Rochester, MI; two sisters, Mrs. Lelah Sheldon of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Maxine Hopkins of Tenn; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Two sons and a daughter are deceased. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday in Powers Funeral Home, New Market with Rev. Dale Payne officiating. Burial will be in Russellville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday. kbz
