Beatrice Myers Succumbs At 41; Funeral Monday Mrs. Beatrice Myers, 41, of 210 Bluff St., died Thursday at 9:45 p.m. at Culver Hospital. She had been ill for three years and had been a patient at Culver Hospital for the past nine weeks. She was born on Aug. 14, 1928, at Elmdale to Hugh and Bessie Utterback Merrell. In 1939 the family moved to Crawfordsville. She attended Wingate and Crawfordsville schools. On Dec. 2, 1947, she married Raymond Myers. She and her husband lived in Waynetown for a number of years. Mrs. Myers was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Nancy Cox of Crawfordsville and Jo Ann and Susan Marie at home; two sons, Gary and Daniel, at home and one granddaughter. Other survivors include her mother, Mrs. Bessie Merrell, Crawfordsville; four brothers, Eugene Merrill of Fresno, Calif., and Donald Merrell, Robert Merrell and Harold Merrell, all of Crawfordsville; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Brown of Speedway and Mrs. Louise Fox of Warren, Mich., and one aunt and three uncles. Mrs. Myers was preceded in death by a small son, Larry, and her father and a sister. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at the Servies-Thomas Funeral Home in Waynetown. Rev. Guy E. Tremaine will officiate. Burial will be in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Saturday.
