It was with a feeling of deep regret and sorrow that the friends of Dr. C. L. Myers heard of the death of his beloved wife, who departed this life at their home in Covington, on Sunday evening, January 28th, after an illness of only one week—death being caused by lockjaw. Mrs. Myers was a noble, christain lady. The funeral services were conducted by Revs. Baker and Ogden, from the Christian Church, in Covington, on Tuesday, the Rathbone sisters acting as pall bearers and the lodge attending in a body. After the service the remains were taken to Hillsboro and thence to Newtown, where they were laid to rest in the cemetery beside the husband who had gone before. – jlr
