Source: The obituary is from a collection by Fauniel Hershberger, saved the 1950's, 60's and 70's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

Waynetown---Harry Myer, 72, a resident of this city, died Wednesday afternoon at 5 o'clock (CDT) at his home here. He had been in ill health the last 15 months but in serious condition for only the past three days. Born March 21, 1880 in Fountain county, he was the son of David and Maria Bever Myer. He married Anna Butts, who survives, in Danville, Ill. on Nov. 2, 1902. He was a member of the Waynetown Christian church and was serving as a deacon at the time of his death. He had been a clerk in various stores for most of his adult life. Surviving besides the widow are two sons, Eston and Ralph, both of Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. Martha Harper, of Waynetown and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock (CDT) from the Christian church. Rev. James F. Pfouts will officiate and burial will be in Waynetown Masonic cemetery.
