WAYNETOWN -- Estin Myer, 61, died at 10 a.m. Monday at his home in Indianapolis. He had been in failing health 11 years. He was born June 17, 1903, at Hillsboro to Harry and Anna Butts Myer. He was married Oct. 15, 1927, to Avanelle Carney in Covington. He had lived in Indianapolis 37 years and operated a gasoline station at 22nd and Delaware streets the past 24 years. He was graduated from Waynetown High School. Mr. Myer is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Luann Mitchell of Minneapolis, Minn.; two grandchildren, Bradley and Amy Mitchell and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Ralph Myer. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown. Rev. Myron Hinton will officiate. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the Conkle Funeral Home at 4925 W. 16th St. in Indianapolis from 6-10 p.m. Tuesday. --typed by Walt W
