Hillsboro - Mrs. Deborah J. Myer, 86, widow of Hyson J. Myer, died at 5 a.m. Saturday. A lifelong resident of the Hillsboro community, Mrs. Myer was born Dec. 20, 1872, in the Ingersoll Chapel neighborhood, the daughter of John and Eliza Jane Booe Long. Mrs. Myer was a member of the Hillsboro Christian Church, Fern Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, Women’s Missionary Society of the church and the Fraternity Bible Class. She married Mr. Myer in 1904. The husband died in December 1958. Surviving are a son, Ernest Myer of Hillsboro; a daughter, Mrs. Grace True of Carmel; a stepson, Earl Myer of Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. Josephine Cooper of Indianapolis; a grandson and a great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Crumley Funeral Home at Hillsboro. Rev. Homer Cole will be the officiating minster. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.

Hillsboro- Rev. Homer Cole, pastor of the Hillsboro Christian Church, officiated the funeral services for Mrs. Deborah Myer, held at the Crumley Funeral Home here at 10:30 a.m. Monday. Serving as pallbearers and assisting with the flowers were: Lyron Ford, Marion Osborn, Marion Daniel Glascock, Robert Clements, Harold Harshbarger, and Elwon Rusk. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery in Hillsboro
