WAYNETOWN – Mrs. Avanelle Myer, 65, of Indianapolis and formerly of Waynetown, died Sunday at Bismarck, N.D. She had been a resident of Indianapolis 45 years and employed by St. Vincent Hospital there for 12 years until her retirement. She was a member of the Waynetown Christian Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lou Ann Mitchell of Bismarck, n.D.; a sister, Mrs. Ina Gates of Champaign, Ill.; two brothers, Ted Carney of Attica and Roland Carney of San Carlo, Calif., and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Estin, in 1964. Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Flanner & Buchanan Mortuary at Broad Ripple. Graveside rites will be at 2 p.m. in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. -
