MUSSER, Bessie Goforth

Mrs. Bessie (Goforth) Musser, 78 wife of William E. Musser, 1216 South 18th Street died in her home at 1:40 a.m. Friday.  She had been in failing health three years.  Born and reared at Ladoga, she lived at Crawfordsville10 years before moving to Lafayette in 1912.  She was first married to Jacob Flickinger and after his death she was married to Mr. Musser in 1933.  She was a member of the Free Methodist Church and WTCU.  Surviving with the husband are a son, Albert G. Flickinger and a brother, NS Gofroth both of Lafayette.   ~~~transcribed by kbz

“Funeral Notices” – Musser, Mrs. William E – Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday at Hippensteel Funeral Home.  The body will life in state one hour before services in Free Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Monday.  Rev. Ralph D. Bright of Lafayette and Rev. LM Gaines of Petersburg officiating; interment in Rest Haven Memorial park.  18 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews survive. ~~~transcribed by kbz
