VEEDERSBURG, Ind. — Mrs. Lena L. Murrin, 92, of 503 S. Mill St., died at 12:55 p.m. Thursday, (Sept. 7, 1978) at the Covington Manor Health Center in Covington. She had been a patient one year. Born Feb. 7, 1886, in a log cabin west of Covington, she was the daughter of Amos and Margaret Oliphant Ballah. She was married in 1904 in Covington to William R. Murrin. He died in 1959. Survivors include two sons, Harold of Danville and Ray of Indianapolis; two daughters, Mrs. Vivian Pence of Nashville, Ind., and Mrs. Jeanne DeAth; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and three nieces, Ruby Hickman of Covington, Thelma Ray of Danville and Irma Holycross of Peoria. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Parham Funeral Home in Veedersburg, with the Rev. Bill Ringgold officiating. Burial will be in Upper Mound Cemetery west of Covington. Friends will be received from 6-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.   --typed by Walt W
